Personally I felt it was time for them to go after all the Republican scandals, the slow response after Hurricane Katrina and the dissatisfaction over the war on Iraq. I hope that changes in the house would send a message to President Bush about the dissatisfaction with his policies in Iraq, and the long list of over issues. Wednesday democrats announced they were “looking to lead the country in a new direction”. Democrats haven’t been in control of the House for the first time in 12 years in midterm elections, and that shows the dominance of the Republican Party.
